North Lincolnshire Council is registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) to countersign applications for Standard and Enhanced DBS checks. As a registered body, the council complies fully with the DBS Code of Practice.
The council is required to take reasonable steps to ensure that client organisations comply with the relevant obligations of the DBS Code of Practice.
We process over 3,000 DBS applications a year for council employees, volunteers and umbrella body clients.
Our new DBS E-Bulk system accommodates our Council's commitment to becoming more agile and paper-light Council.
